Bayerische Hausbau Development has built a commercial building with top-notch office space in Munich's Kreuzviertel district, directly adjacent to first hotel in Germany to carry the Rosewood brand. The offices, which cover an area of around 10,900 m², are grouped around a quiet inner courtyard in Prannerstraße.

The newly designed facade enters into a balanced dialog with the adjacent Palais Neuhaus-Preysing in terms of its symmetrical design and plasticity.

The high-quality natural stone facade with projections of varying degrees gives the outer shell depth.

The catalog of materials comprising natural stone, glass, metal and brass accents is also reflected in the interior design of the foyer and office space.

A gem in the courtyard

The organic shape of the seating sculpture in the inner courtyard, which was designed by two artist, serves as a counter pole to the grid-like facade, and the wood harmonizes with the surrounding architecture.

From head to toe

The most attractive underground car park in Munich's Kreuzviertel district is located under the PRANNER. The materiality and restrained colors of the architecture are reflected in the car park.

Prannerstraße 4: classic architectural style reinterpreted

The architecture of the new building echoes the structure and symmetry of the neighboring Palais Neuhaus-Preysing, offering a contemporary interpretation of the Palais with its elegant yet restrained natural stone facade. Projections of varying degrees divide the facade into three vertical bands of different depths. This creates greater plasticity and plays with the three-dimensional effect of the facade, which is reminiscent of the design of Baroque facades.

Good to know

The loading yard for the neighboring Rosewood Hotel is located at the rear of the building, on Salvatorstraße. A dedicated loading yard manager coordinates the logistics on site.
